# Source-map summary: scope and method

This is step one: an inspectable map of what four X accounts say. It is not the overarching narrative planned for step two and not an independent medical evidence review.

## Scope

Accounts: @nootropicguy, @1Immortals1, @lowmegatron and @jamesbondwisdom. Period: 30 September 2025 inclusive to 30 September 2026 exclusive, UTC. Include original posts, quote posts and the authors' own thread continuations; exclude conversational replies to others and other people's comments. Preserve quote attribution and do not infer endorsement from sharing.

The fourth account is The Hair King. Its month searches were sparse before June 2026, so collection also paginated its account-ID timeline through the starting boundary. The corrected source set contains 232 of its posts: 179 originals and 53 own-thread continuations. Earlier months being empty does not establish that no deleted or unindexed posts existed.

## Source preservation and review

Raw provider responses stay in the local archive. The full-text local CSV/JSONL and manifest preserve post IDs, canonical X URLs, dates, authors, parent/root relationships and quote context. The published source index contains attributed summaries and original X links; it does not replace that raw archive.

Existing topic drafts are revised using their cited original texts and new topic material. Hair-related posts across the earlier three accounts are re-read alongside The Hair King's posts. Three specific subjects emerge from that material: DHT and hair-loss mechanisms, hair-loss medicines and alternatives, and scalp care/procedures. Other topics retain the existing taxonomy. Topic counts overlap and reflect discussion volume, not evidence strength.

Every substantive summary statement has exact source receipts. A second source-faithfulness review checks attribution, study wording, actual comparisons, and commercial signals against the cited text. Clinical truth has not been independently checked. Full papers, linked destinations, images and videos have not been transcribed or validated.

Provider reply flags sometimes contradict conversation and parent metadata. The selection rule checks those relationships as well. Forty included Master Metabolism continuations have ancestry gaps; nineteen thread roots are unavailable; three ambiguous replies remain excluded. Two roots outside the period remain separate context, not additional in-range posts.

## Step two remains a discussion

The synthesis skill's source ledger, narrative and reconciliation methods fit this work. Its company-board template does not. The eventual synthesis should explain the relationships between topics and preserve the source layer; its structure and any independent fact-checking should be agreed before that phase starts. Bloodwork matching is a separate later stage.
